The Configuration Setup window is used to build the analysis workflow by selecting and linking the appropriate modules and setting the different parameters. This window is independent from the main window and may be closed during signal acquisition and analysis.

Toolbar

The Configuration Setup toolbar is described below.

Show main window

Brings the main window to front.

Clear current configuration

Discards the displayed configuration.

Load configuration

Loads a CFG configuration file.

Save configuration

Saves the current configuration as a CFG file.

Print configuration report

Prints the configuration report with all modules, inputs, outputs and parameters.

Preview configuration window

Shows the configuration report with all modules, inputs, outputs and parameters.

Zooms in / out the configuration grid and modules. 100% by default.

All

Shows links between selected modules. All links displayed by default.

Links

Shows links and input / output labels. Links displayed by default.

Square links

Selects / unselects square link display. Unselected by default.

Magnetic grid

Shows display grid. No grid by default.

Displays license and contact information.


Modules ribbon

Only modules included in the kernel and the license are visible in the ribbon. Modules may be sorted using alphabetical order and/or arranged in tabs (right-click selection on ribbon).
 

Configuration basics

Basic actions related to building a configuration are listed below. When closing a file, the configuration is automatically saved with the last modifications.

Insert a module

Click on the module to insert (in module ribbon) and click in the configuration area below.

Position a module

Drag and drop module at position of interest. Possible grid alignment with Magnetic grid button.

Link two modules

Drag and drop output of module 1 on input of module 2.

Change link display style

Show or hide links, use square display, etc. Select the most appropriate option from the All, Labels and links and Square links buttons.

Change label display style

Select your label display style from the Labels and links button.

Modify module name

Right-click on module and select Edit.

Modify output name

Go to main window Edit > Data menu and select data of interest.

Reduce size of module

Right-click on the module and select Edit to change output properties (show, hide, condense) or Condensed to minimize all outputs at once.

Modify properties of module

Two methods, either in Configuration Setup window (1) or main window (2):

  1. Double-click on the module or right-click on the module and select Properties.
  2. In the Edit menu, click on Configurations and select the appropriate module.

 Not possible during acquisition (except for display modules).

Recalculate one module

Two methods, either in Configuration Setup window (1) or main window (2):

  1. Right-click on the module and select Recalculate.
  2. Right-click on the Recalculate button and select the appropriate module.

Recalculate several modules

Select modules to recalculate (hold click, extend rectangular selection on modules of interest or Shift + click on required modules), right-click on one of the selected modules and select Recalculate.

Recalculate the whole configuration

Two methods, either in Configuration Setup window (1) or main window (2):

  1. Same as for several modules (see above).
  2. Click on the Recalculate button.
