Analysis zones are zones of signal on which XYD analysis is applied. Zones can be modified and edited (e.g. description, color) from the Zone definition panel (Figure B). Adjustments on Start time and End Time of a zone in the Zone definition panel is automatically applied to the multi-graphs display.

Zones can be deleted with the Del key.

The toolbars, fields and controls available in the Zone definition panel are described in the figures and tables below.

Characteristics

Description

Current zone

Index of the current zone in relation with the total number of zones. Read-only.

Description

Description of the current zone. Can be edited and modified in Zones definition mode .

Start time

Start time of the zone. Automatically modified when adjusting the zone in the multi-graphs display. Read-only.

Stop time

End time of the zone. Automatically modified when adjusting the zone in the multi-graphs display. Read-only.

Color

Selection of the XY plot color for a zone selected as a control.

Control

Corresponding XY plot of the zone selected as a "control zone" remains in the display. A control zone can be saved and loaded into the same or another file to visually compare XY relationships.

Moves the selected zone down in the control panel; the corresponding XY plot is sent backwards.

Bring to front

Moves the selected zone up in the control panel; the corresponding XY plot is sent to front.

Load a control zone from a file

Loads a control zone from a file; the associated XY plot is displayed in the XY display. The name of XYD file is displayed in a new row of the Zones definition control panel. Only one XYD file can be loaded at a time. Errors related to this action are listed in Table 13.

Save zone in a file as control zone

Saves the selected zone in a specific XYD file as a control zone. Errors related to this action are listed in Table 13.
